Hello, newcomers, and welcome to Rivelata!*
Since getting off that boat, you may have found yourself in an entirely different place and time from what you recall as being your home.
Don't hold out too much hope. You're not going there anytime soon.
For now, you're here.
This is Rivelata. Your journal and your quill will be your closest companion from now on. But more on that later. For now, for your convenience, here is a map of what has been discovered so far, so you might find your way around.

( Locations, by number )
Now that that seems to be out of the way, let me introduce you to a few key players in this little game so far.
( Important People to take note of )
Your magic is probably weakened, regardless of who or what you are. It's prone to malfunctioning and has done so in the past, or fail to work at all. Still, it is definitely possible for them to become stronger over time once more if you take the time to exercise or train them somehow.
Either way, there are no guarantees. In this place, anything and everything is prone to happening. Magical things, beings, occurences, extraordinary abilities, are all obviously left and right. Expect the unexpected. At one point, two individuals even ended up involuntarily trading bodies. The only true advice I can give you is to watch your back as closely as you possibly can. Chances are, even if it has before, your magic/powers/abilities, no matter how strong, now or ever, will not be sufficient to protect you from your own stupidity, should you not heed warnings given.
It's not the happiest of places. It might seem pleasant at first, but people die here. Some die brutally, some just... disappear. Some even return after dying once without any recollection of their former lives in Rivelata. This brings up another point. Not only can people mysteriously reappear, it seems that individuals can be taken from truly anywhere from the personal history/timeline of your world. What events have passed for you may not have passed for another, and vice versa.
Your journal is your constant companion. Or, it should be. No one aside from you, with your quill, are able to write in it and utilize it to create entries of whatever you please. The only thing you should keep in mind, is that you cannot create private/locked entries. This means that all of the Rivelata residents are able to see what you've written. What you write about is entirely up to you, of course, though again, here I must ask you to heed caution and consider what you're allowing others to see before writing something. All of these restrictions were imposed by the Queen.
It's true that war has been declared in Rivelata. Culties, the somewhat slang term for Zikhadhara's followers, will be fighting Royalists, those in favor of the Queen.
Don't believe that these are, by any means, the only two sides you have to choose from. One side is brutal, feral, and unstable, the other, morally and truthfully questionable to several. Both sides have their weaknesses. It's at these points that you should trust the judgment of friends that have been here longer than you. If you are alone, then please. Go make a friend. I, myself, am more than willing to talk to you. Obviously.
That having been said, if you have any questions, feel free to come ask me, in this entry, or in person, though the latter is preferred in some cases. In fact, I strongly encourage it. ♥
*Please refer all newcomers to this entry, in order to make things easier. People asked, people received.
